Today I found some bloody poop in my chicks brooder. I have 8 OEG bantams, one is six and a half weeks old and the others are four and a half weeks old. I dont know exactly which one it came from, and they all seem to be acting fine. They are eating and drinking normally. Is it coccidiosis, or is this normal. Should I put medication for coccidiosis in their water just to be safe or would that be bad for them if they don't have it?

here is a picture of the poop...

You will want to treat your chicks with a coccidiostat (Corid) at the maximum dosage in their water. That is the only water they should have so they get medicated properly. If the chicks are together, which it sounds like...treat both chicks.

Do you have Corid on hand?
No, but I can probably get some tomorrow, do they sell it at tractor supply stores?
