Help, found a bloody poop in chick brooder.

It never occurred to me to suggest this...I purchased a ring of measuring spoons and cups at the dollar store to be able to accurately measure to reduce the amount for a smaller volume. It is definitely ok to mix smaller amounts as long as you're accurate with the measurement.

Did you get powder or liquid?
I got the powder that dissolves in liquid. So if i want a half gallon would 3/4 Tsp of corid mixed in be alright?

For half a gallon...just half the powder...so yes 3/4 tsp.

I've even knocked it down to a quart waterer if there isn't many chicks and they're not drinking it. :)

I use the liquid and I use a syringe to measure the amounts (for those who use the liquid.)

I started putting the corid in their water on Wednesday. But I am still seeing bloody poop, though they don't look as bad as the first one. Does this medication take some time to get rid of the bloody poop or is something wrong?

Thank you everyone, all of the chicks still look healthy and are acting normal. I have not seen any more bloody poop, but I will definitely get some corrid at tractor supply as soon as I can.
You'll need to dip their beaks in the water to force them to drink. Repeat with each chick EVERY hour, even during the night. Hold each chick for one minute, but don't get their nares under water.

They have been drinking lots of the water on their own. But is has been two days and they still have bloody poop. I was just wondering if corid takes time to get rid of bloody poop or if it is not working.

Can you post a photo of what the poop looks like right now?
What dosage of Corid are you giving - do you have powdered or liquid?

Most of their poop looks normal, I will just find a few bloody ones during the day. There are 8 chicks in the brooder so I don't know which one is having the bloody poop. I am giving 3/4 tsp corid in a half gallon of water, It is the powder corid that dissolves in water.

The Corid water is the only source of water available?
