HELP!! Found a wound on chicken

She was doing great, feathers started to re grow so I thought it was good to stop but I checked on her 48 hours later and she was fully packed clean & cut open again. I didn’t see these notifications or I would have read that the new feathers are tasty!

I started back up the triple antibiotic cream since it was bloody when I found it & I’ve been spraying her with the anti peck spray. I think I’ll get her a cover too. I’m hoping it grows back. Is there a chance she won’t regrow feathers??

I have one girl that everyone seems to go after. She has a bare back and bare behind. I have put Pinless Peepers on my girls in the past, with success. But this time, I couldn't tell who was doing the pecking so I bought a chicken saddle from Etsy and put it on the bare girl just the other day. It's staying on her really well but I haven't looked to see how the feathers are growing. I did try putting a No Peck solution on her first but it didn't help

The fact that she is getting pin feathers in means the feathers are regrowing. They just get pecked before they get bigger. Try buying or making a chicken saddle to cover the area
