Help Found bloody egg ????

I have 4 mixed layers. I went out this morning to collect eggs which I do every morning and one egg was bloody? Does anyone know why it would be bloody??? I will post a picture of the egg. Any advise would be helpful!!! I love my chickens and don't want to lose anymore. We had a raccoon family break in pen 2 weeks ago and kill 3 of my other layers it was heartbreaking to me. I have moved them to a new pen for their safety. Im very attached to them. any info would be helpful!!!

That can happen sometimes......it could be a one off, or could be a serious injury/defect.
Check over your hens, look for the one with the bloody butt and isolate her so you can keep an eye on her.
