I have (10) 7 week old Cornish cross that I was planning on processing next week. One of them has what I assume is gape worm. Gasping, head shaking, making a noise that I can only describe as a loud squeak toy and I see red globs (not blood) that looks like tissue in her poop. The closest avian vet is over an hour away. Do I still process or treat and wait a couple more weeks to process. They are so big right now that I’m not sure they can wait too much longer for processing. Thanks in advance for advise.

The respiratory issue is probably an infection, not gapeworms, and the stuff in the poop could be from coccidiosis or worms.

Gap worm isn't common by me.
Could be it inhaled food and has intestinal shedding.
@casportpony might have more info
I hope that’s all it is. I’ve never dealt with anything like this before.
