HELP! Goat got into Chicken Grower/finisher and possibly in labor OR Bloat?

I JUST seen the part about the activated Charcoal.. They had some there I probably could've gotten it. ( Theres a Walgreens nearby, but I don't think they'd let me 'borrow' some like TSC did...

I am not experienced enough to answer all your questions but there is people on the goat spot that will. From what I have read you should give electrolytes and no milk.

Just read your post on the goat spot. You can search home made electrolytes on the search engine and see if you have the ingredients on hand to fill a syringe and drench her slowly so she does not aspirate it or if she will take a bottle you can just put it in a bottle. If it is pneumonia you will need to treat with something stronger as that is not usually given to goats because it needs to be long acting.
You may try to start a new post asking if it is possible to treat with it and what is the dosage and frequency if you can.

The goat vets at UC Davis recommend that all shots, except those to be administered IV, be given under the skin to goats.

Recap from goat spot.

Babies Temp has gone down from 106.1 to 105.6 with a lukewarm bath.

She's drinking and has more vigour.

Has been given Milk of Magnesia and the Norocillin, which apparently is good for the treatment of Endotoximia.

I may have to give her an enema to make her poop.

I forgot to mention this. Clostridium perfingens, which is the bacterium that causes entertoxemia, is susceptible to penicillin. If you think she might have entero, give a shot of penicillin under the skin and then squirt another dose down the throat. You can use a syringe minus the needle to do that. If the tummy is tight, also give some Gas X. Gas X will take care of bloat better than anything else.

The Norocillin is Penicillin G or something like that.

She got a shot. of it.. You think some in her mouth would be okay?

She's going a bit better, gotten some powerade, milk of Magnesia, and water down her, plus an ounce of Milk Nutridrench mixture (before I knew you shouldn't mix the two.. Woops. )

Would Beano work for Gas?
