HELP! Goat got into Chicken Grower/finisher and possibly in labor OR Bloat?

That's up to you. I prefer my does to kid in the barn, but if you feel she is safe outside then leave her. If you do move her and want her in the barn, you'll have to shut her in, or she'll just go back to where she wants to be.

I put her in the barn and shut her in. Put my Birth kit in there. Still no change.

Is it gonna be like this EVERY kidding season?

Yes.. lol. But the more times you are with your doe when she kids, the easier it will be to guess when she will go :)

:lau. I remember feeling exactly the same. I bought three does that we're accidentally breed, buck escaped. I had no due date and was a newbie. They all kidded in December with freezing temps. One of them fell over on her side and stuck her legs out all stiff and I just knew she was gonna start pushing. Nope she got up a few minutes later and acted just normal. She did not kid for another 2 weeks. Another would only sleep with her front half elevated for the last month. I thought I was going to pull my hair out.

Auughgg I HOPE this isn't a case of 'I'll wait two weeks'!

I don't even think I could wait till tomorrow! I want my kids TONIGHT! Maybe if I threaten her like I did with the chickens.

Just had to casual mention wanting some BBQ chicken for them to start laying.

I checked on her just now. I can visually see a kid shifting in her belly. I felt around and I could make out, for sure, two different kids, and POSSIBLY a third by feeling.

Vulva is puffy and slightly opened, I can see pink. She's shifting more. I THINK one kid has been pushed upwards in the uterus as the second one is below. I can feel (what I believe is) back legs on the one up high. So it FEELS like Baby one is Above baby two, with legs pressed against right side. Baby Two's back is along the bottom of the belly (at least I couldn't feel any distinct legs.) with legs up. And the POSSIBLE third baby is below the Rumen on the other side. Legs facing toward the right.

I felt legs, for sure, one solid 'back' and then another solid back and possibly a butt. But I can SEE legs moving for sure. This is a drawing of what I think I felt. Obviously I can't know the position of the limbs facing into the womb. But it's my best interpretation.

The Green and Orang are sitting low in the belly. Orange is below the Rumen. Red seems like he's going to be the first to deliver.

I've been checking her every thirty minutes and nothing yet.

But I told you 'You better have those babies soon, lady!'

And she shook her head and tossed it.

It's official, goat's are hyper intellegent.
