I have Sebastopol goose eggs that were shipped to me and I was wondering since the aircell moves when I turn the egg is it best to set the egg on it's end or onit's side in the incubator? Also for hatch should I then lay it on it's side??? I'm using my Brinsea ECO 20 with egg turner... Thanks

I would set it on the end pointed end down. Not sure if the cell is moving if it will make it I have a few that are like that also.

In my experience with chicken eggs... if the cell moves they don't make it. No harm in trying!

I would put pointy end down and hatch it that way too.

My experience with broken air cells is that they do best if put in an egg turner and left alone. If they are on their sides, that means that you will have to handle them to turn them over several times a day. This can jostle the embryo around more than it needs to be at that point. Sometimes the eggs like that make it, sometimes they don't.
