Well, the rest of Oni's half-on bill came off, and now she looks like it's trimmed, but it came off very nice and round, which is strange. She's having a hard time eating and drinking...not sure what to do about that, but she seems to be healthy.

She is probably still sore. Is the end of her bill healing over? Is she eating a mash or gruel?

She's eating lol--water soaked pellets. The first day I gave her some chick starter so she'd get more protein, with some scratch mixed in to tempt her pallet. She's such a lovey goosey! I just wish Shinigami weren't so mean when we pick up Oni.

Her bill is kind of jagged right now; I wish I could file it with a nail file, but that would probably hurt---yes?

Filing the bill would probably hurt at this point and open up the healed area. Over time it will wear smooth. As long as she is eating and drinking, she will be fine.
The broken part was not enough to compromise her tongue, so it will stay moist, which is great.
