Help. We're hatching eggs at school and this happened. It appears to be coming from the vent.

I haven't had to do that before, but probably a pair of scissors to the neck would be quick.

was just typing this. Would be easy to be discreet. Then wrap in paper towel and throw away (or take home and throw away)
