Help, hatching chicks

This is my first time hatching chicks all others have died in shell. Only one started to peck through but it died too. Now i hear chirping and pecking inside egg. Anything i need to do

what is your humidity? and you stopped turning right?

yes stopped turning it was due to hatch in couple days.he has started pecking the shell but now it just does nothing. make a few little chirps

What is your humidity. If it's pipped and only been 6-8 hours it just needs more time. From pip to zip takes from 12-24 hours. Humidity is important--to high they will drown, too low and they can shrink wrap.

i have had trouble with the humidity being too low, this is a new incubator. It dont look like there is anything inside the shell that would drown the chick,. the inside that i can see looks kinda dry. what do i need to do. It hasnt been long since i opened the lid so the humidity isnt right

Without knowing the humidity now it is impossible to advise an adjustment. It is not ready to hatch yet, so other than that I'm not sure. Good lick and keep us posted.
