It’s been a while since I’ve been on here. I started hatching eggs again. I hatch 27 chickens. A friend gave me a bunch of duck eggs. She has no idea if they’re Muskovy or Rowan or khaki Campbell. I don’t want them to die. Today is lockdown if they’re not Muskovy. Anyway to tell the difference in what the eggs look like?

I guess not knowing their status, I would proceed with stopping turning and increase humidity on time for regular duck eggs, but don't give up on them until after time for Muscovies to hatch.

Well they are definitely Muskovy. I lock down on Wednesday and even though there’s chips there’s still no hatching. I can here them. How long does it take?

It can be 12-24 hours from pip to zip. I don't know for sure that it's the same for ducks, and Muscovies in particular, but I think so. Some pip, zip, and hatch in no time, others take longer. Fingers crossed you get a good hatch!

One hatched. Took 2 days. One looks dead. ...Sigh
