My chickens were just attacked by a hawk! I ran outside to stop it. One of my girls got attacked pretty good on the comb of her head. How can i doctor her up?! What else can I do for her??

Thanks! Looking more closely now, her right eye is injured and she has a sliced opening on her head, plus the comb is partly ripped away. What can I do for this????

Neosporin may help.
There isn't much you can do except keeping her safe way from others who may peck her and make it worse.

How is she doing this morning?

Thanks for checking on her! I ended up taking her to the vet since I just realized I was not equipped to take care of her...she really needed to be sutured up. She is doing great!!! He removed part of her comb that had no circulation, sutured her head, and said her eye will prob be fine. I have her in a cage inside for now but will move her to her own safe place away from the other chickens in a few days! She is one tired girl and sleeping a lot. It could be because she is bored though in the cage ;)
