Hello everyone. My family just picked up 6 new chicks on Saturday. They are about 2-4 days old when I got them from a local hatchery. One of my Speckled Sussex chicks is doing a weird chatter chirping and head bobbing over and over. I've tried giving water, soften food and have inspected chick for any odd bumps. I've tried gently massaging the neck in a downward motion in hopes that maybe if something was stuck it would dislodged. I'm not sure what else to do it why this behavior is happening. It's been at least 2 years since we've had baby chicks and I don't think I've ever seen this. Any thoughts?

Too many people recommend wetting the Chicks feed..:(....It actually can cause them to get sick with impacted crop...Chicks/Chickens are designed to eat dry feed...Fresh water... ducklings do best on wet feed..:)......

I hope all is well...:)
