Hi when I have chicks that are a few days old and need to be culled Oh i hate to say it but i have my hubby take it out he either thumps it really hard with his fingers like flicking it or a BB gun Uggh that was hard to type Good luck im so sorry

With a new hatch the quickest way is to snip its head off with a good sharp pair of sissors or a quick snatch downward on the head will break the neck.

a good heavy sack and a swing at the sidewalk

(quick and clean and no hands on chick and you can't see it)... Do NOT do the vinegar baking soda chamber!!! Drowning is out also... That takes too long.. Auuugg that is aweful and don't try to thump it over the head... It takes to many tries... ug.. just gutwrenching... I am so sorry for you... hang in there

I think Geebs idea is a good one> I never have done it so I really dont know how it truley feels Im soooooooooo sorry just remember your are ending the pain it must be in. Let us know how it goes

I take the chick put it in plastic bag & put it in the freezer. The chick get's cold & goes to sleep. It only takes a minute or two. I prefer this method, it's quick & easy I just put it in & walk away. Come back later, take out chick & put in trash.
