We had 20 eggs incubating and we are not sure what happened but the eggs where moved and some were broken. One is broken but the sac is still intact and the chick is chirping. Should we unzip or let Mother Nature takes its course. This is our first time incubating

Questions. What day are they on? What day were they set? Did someone move/hit the incubator and break the eggs or are they pipping and breaking out?

Unless it was already pipped, I wouldn't unzip, chances are the membrane is still heavy with veining. I'm assuming you are at least into the lockdown stage if chick is chirping? How badly broken are they? Incubation day and pictures would help us to give opinions.
