I have a red buff orphington hen who is older, never any problems. 3 other chickens with no issues, they all live together. The past 2 days she has been laying by herself, not eating or drinking. Cant really walk, just stands and kind of shuffles around in a circle. Today I gave her an epsom salt bath and sat her on a towel in the bathroom. I eventually got her to drink by herself. A couple seconds after each drink I heard a gurgling noise (like a rumbling tummy). She has her eyes closed and then started falling to the side and arching her head and neck all the way back. She flapped her wings around while laying down doing this and her one foot curled up. Eventually her neck kind of flopped down and she was making groaning noises. Now she picked her head up and is just laying there. What can I do? I cant sit in my bathroom forever. Thank you, I am desperate.
