Help hen badly wounded I mean really bad!!! UPDATE!!

omg gosh I am about to panick!!! one of my hens has eaither been beatin up by my rooster or a weassel has attackted her!!!! she has no skin from the middle of her back to her right leg. she is walking around and drinking and eating but I just found it today and it looks like it is about 3 days old. It looks really bad guys and I am worried that she isnt gonna pull through!!! I sprayed her with bluein and put an absorbant pad on it and then i put on her apron and taped it to her!!! I also seperated her to a 2 by 3 box... she is just laying down but was moving around. wants to sleep alot.... she is drinking her water and has ate some but I dont know what else to do if I can do anything!!! Please tell me what else I can do to gelp her pull through

Honey, you said yourself that you think this is days old .. waiting a few minutes for someone to chime in isn't unreasonable.

It sounds like you've done what you can - without taking her to a vet .. only time will tell.

I would have done something sooner except I havent been down there... my dads been feeding them for me and he said there was a hen that wasnt getting around good but that has happened before and they usually perk right up!! Can I put anything in her water or something!!! I mean it aint like I dont take care of my animals because I do... I jus never guessed that it would be this bad... none of my other hen even have a scratch and their feathers are growing back

At least she is eating and drinking that is a good sign.
Maybe put some anitibiotics in her water. Change her bedding daily and keep it clean. Maybe use something like Polysporin?
Treat her kindly and talk to her. Chickens are pretty amazing and have great powers of healing.

Thanks... I mean like i said she is moving I taped the wing down to her body that way what did heal couldnt tear... what kind of antibiotics... i got some penicilian but its human strength 500 mg? what amount should I giver her???

Disinfect the wounds daily. Isolate her with antibiotic or oxine in her water; watch closely.
Nothing more you can really do....pray for her to get well. And don't panic.

ok so I guess that I am taking one of the penicillian and cutting it in half and then grinding it up and putting it in her water??? that would be 250 mg is that still to much??
