I just discovered that one of my hens can't stand. I called a friend that has raised chickens before and he thinks it could be an egg blackage (where the shell solidifies while in the hen - can't pop out) and I need to glove up and take a poke. I also quickly skimmed the forum here and learned that tomato vines are bad, and well I trimmed my vines and didn't pick them all up last night. Any other ideas? Although I will stick my finger up one, do not want to go that route unless I have too. Please help
Edit: While I didn't stick my finger in, I poked around and nothing hard in the area. I could kind of open that end a little....and there was movement of those muscles. Don't know if that helps.....
