HELP! Hen suddenly sick and injured *UPDATE* 3/15

It's really hard, especially when my three have such sentimental value. Ivy and Ginger are two of the originals and my Olivia was a happy accident who has been nothing but a joy to have here. There's not much you can do other than make her comfortable and hope that her body will kick out any infection.

Made the dreaded decision today... RIP Barbara.

I am so sorry about Barbara. You gave it your best but sometimes the best thing is the hardest to do. She knew she was loved.

You gave her the best chance possible! She had more and better treatment than many others would have given her. You went well beyond what many others would have done! She had the best care she could have ever hoped for. I know its hard and it sux but sometimes its just not ment to be. I am Soooo sorry for your loss!!

I know Barbara thanks you for trying.

God Bless!

Well, here I am again with another sick hen. This one, Anna, is one of Barbara's brooder mates that I got from TSC 2 years ago. She has the exact same symptoms as Barbara last year and the same funny "penguin" stance. She's a brown leghorn and she is already skinny as a rail... I don't think it'll be long so I'm just trying to keep her as comfortable as possible.
