Help hen with prolapse and broken egg inside!

You might be able to just reduce daylight for such a hen, like I do for my parrot. Dylan asks to go to bed when we are watching TV and it is her bedtime. She wants
her dark, safe place at night, and she says, "Lets go". This is usually at the regular time, 7 pm. But, the other day we were watching Game of Thrones, and she keeps saying "Lets go" and even flapping -- which she never does on my lap, when the fire breathing dragon was flying right into the camera. I know she hates big crows, and that dragon was looking way bigger! It was too early, but I put her to bed, as commanded.

So the capsule has granules inside that you could sprinkle on her food or put in something they love like scrambled egg. What I got was liquid drops, which is fine for a pet but not a layer.

so you could feed some tuna water they might drink that along with the liquid drops in it..!
but YES thats it...! i gotta say i keep this supplement safe, like it was gold , HA since it worked so well, but also all the other things that has to be done along with using it is also a very important part of the healing a hen..! and if its done right its a life time healing..!

o gosh i know what you mean thats great..! , my parrot starts yelling i want in , which means he wants to go to bed , and to cover him up & turn off the lights, but if i turn on a light at night in the kitchen looking for a mid night snack after he was in bed, he yells good out...! HA....lol.. i love it he is so cute....lol.. but so bossy....lol.... right HA and right now his is the only other voice i hear since my husband died a wile back, so its wonderful and so much fun living with parrots....HA they are really little ( demanding ) people with feathers HA

Parrots are birds with voices. They can say what your chickens can't! They are a huge amount of company, and if you are lucky, they will live longer than you will. So many of my pets are gone, I wanted Dylan to be my last pet! Chickens are nice, but Dylan does not like other birds, (except other Greys) unless it's the bone from the drumstick. Greys are omnivores, like us.

Dylan will drink anything I give her, either from a Gator-aid lid or an eyedropper. A chicken might not be so well trained, or tame. I guess you could hold a hen and giver her drops forcibly, but I like the idea of scrambled egg. Drops could be scrambled, but they were prescription, and I am wanting a cheaper OTC thing like you did!

golly yes well i have to say a cheap otc , im not sure this supplement was..HA i remember it costing some thing like $20.00 to 29.00 on line , but it was to help my husband so i went for it, and im sure glad i did..! since its helped my hen like it did ..! but also my hens dish was for a parrot, stainless steel that hung off the side of the cage, so no spilling at all , but a doper would be great, if the hen was to sickly to even want to drink , i would feed her liquid like that then.! but being careful since we dont want them to choke at all .

yes my parrot burt is in my will , my youngest son was raised with him so burt goes to him when im gone, since my parrot really loves my son so its a good thing for them both. i made sure my chickens will be properly cared for after im gone , i have left money for them until they can go to new forever homes, then i will rest in peace...but only when all my charges are in good homes and wont be harmed in any way i guess thats about all we can do for them when we are no longer around to care for them..!

Believe me, $20 is so cheap if it avoids a trip to Dr. Lamb, avian vet!

Depends how friendly your hens are. If you train them with something good, like Gatoraid, KoolAid, to take something from a dropper from you when they are young and healthy, you can give them meds when they are sick. The vet tech was trying to tell me how to force feed the drops, and I just showed the dropper to Dylan and she drank from it. The tech said she could have saved herself a lot of work if she knew Dylan would do that! So, now I am very sure to write down all the things Dylan does when she goes to the vet. I take her there for boarding.

your so right , my hens are sooo friendly its amazing they all want my attention all at once all 75 of them....lol.. so if i have something to give them its gone before i can see were it went....HA all my animals have always trusted me no matter what , its a good feeling ,and its truth that animals can tell whats in your heart.!
