Without seeing a video all I can do is guess. If you have inspected her carefully and can't find any broken bones, swelling or bruising, I think my best guess is Marek's.

Why would that have caused limping? How would she have contracted it? Is she contagious? She doesn't seem sick, and her limp is much better.

Sometimes yes, but usually it's just one leg.

If it were a torn muscle I would think you would have seen some swelling and/or bruising. If it is some sort of soft tissue injury it could take many weeks.

It’s kind of difficult to see bruising in all the feathers.
