Help! Homes for halfbreed chicks IN WINTER?!

Don't beat yourself up April... stuff happens and your kid probably is really enjoying and learning good stuff from this. Chicks are fun.

ETA, since the hens are only a year old and not near their down turn in egg production, it seems a shame to get rid of them or eat them. Unless of course any of the chicks have awesome, eye candy, feather color or something that would make them more attractive to have/keep... Since you can't keep them all, I guess you just have to decide which works best for you. I'm sure it would be easier to sell active layers over young chicks, but giving them away would be attractive for someone just starting out who doesn't mind waiting for them to hit POL.
