Help! Horse got into chicken seed!

I let my horse out to graze.. and came back out to check on him... and

he had gotten into the chicken food!! What will happen now?

He ate like 5 or 10 pounds.. I really don't know how much.

Can you help me out here?

I think you might want to ask your vet as your horse could colic or get laminitis. Either one could be bad. For sure watch him for any signs of colic or lameness. Hope all is well and he didn't eat as much as you think!
 
Was it medicated feed?
If it wasn't I would just monitor your horse really closely and watch for signs of colic. Make sure he has access to water and don't give him any hard feed for 24 hours but allow him access to hay/grass. At best it may not bother him at all and at worst it will probably just give him belly ache. Good luck.

I forgot to say that it was layer feed that he ate. It had some corn bits in it.

I have been watching him for signs of colic.
