HELP! HOW DO I GET RID OF A TURKY?

Wish I had an answer besides shooting but I couldn't find one last year. Got to the point where I was feeding the geese twice a day and standing over them while they ate. Those turkeys are just not afraid. Had a flock of 16 wild turkeys here and they were eating more than 50 pounds of my goose feed a week before I started feeding the geese while I was there. This year there are not turkey at all. Have no idea what happened to them except that maybe the cougar took them.

Or...maybe they found someone not willing to protect their feed...moocher’s

I agree with Folly's Place. Your best bet would be to keep your chickens in an enclosed run/coop setup for a while until the turkeys (if wild) move on. Right now they're there for the easy meal.
