I have a reptipro 6000 and I have never had humidity problems before but now I do. Last batch my humidity was to high the whole incubation and it drowned most of my chicks and they died. Well, I decided I was going to do a dry hatch and the humidity is up in the 60s and 70s!! I have no clue why because I haven't put any water at all in there. The first day or two it was around 20-30 which I was ok with but this is just to much ! I do not have any vents to open but have been opening the door to lower it . I thought about rigging it to where the door stays open but I can't seem to keep temp doing it that way. I have 7 dozen eggs in there and can't afford to lose them or have a low hatch rate like last time. Any tips on how to lower the humidity ? Is there something I can put in there or am I pretty much s.o.l ?
