HELP!! Hurt chick.

One of my chicks got out of its pen and one of the hens took a chunk out of the chicks neck. It's missing most of the skin on its neck. I brought it inside and it's in a little box with food and water, but is there anything else that I should do for it? It's eating and drinking and it's acting like it's fine, but I feel awful for her. Any advice?

That's so sad. I'd spray some vetericyn on that wound to thwart infection.
also, some children's vitamins would not hurt. poly-vi-sol w/o iron. just a couple of drops. Rite Aid carries it and probably Walgreens as well.

make sure you are watching the wound closely for signs of infection

Separate it from the others or they will peck at the wound.
Try a spray but I think its 50/50 if it survives?
Sad. Poor chick.
