HELP! I AM NOT SURE WHAT TO!!!!

I don't know when the last time she has laid an egg.... Since they are getting to be almost three they are not laying as much..... But sometimes I get one egg a day, maybe two, and if I am super lucky I get three..... But she was one of the strong ones so she might be one of them laying.....We are taking her to the vet this afternoon...... Hopefully they could help us and she can be my strong healthy little chicken!

Sounds like a good idea to bring her. I hope they get it figured out and she starts feeling better soon! Let me know How it goes at the vets I'm curious what's wrong with her and would like to know what the outcome is. Good luck!!

We went and they found out it wasn't sour crop. They think it might me an infection in the nose....like a respiratory thing.... We got some vitamins to boost her energy and we fed her with some boiled eggs and she ate a lot. We also put her in my bathroom and see if we could get the goop off the nose by getting it wet and humid by running the shower.... We could get some of it off.. but not all....she was not very cooperative as you can imagine.... But other than that she was perfectly fine! Do you know any other ideas that could help me with any thing? Tomorrow we bathe off her poopy on her little be-hind!! Thanks a lot you guys! Do you think she will last?

I was looking around to see if there could be anything i could identify... I kept seeing coccidiosis... I think she is pooping and an egg isnt stuck (this is from the vet) but she is puffed up, stands stil, and her eyes are half closed. Today I saw her eat and drink just fine, even her vitamins.... Are there any other symptoms that I should know about?

i would put all the birds on corid...it is used for coccidiosis...if you need help with doses and a great person on here is casportpony ....she is the go to on here for meds and dosing..but i would reccomend valbazen in there with the corid...orally give them the worming meds at a 1/2ml per bird...and then retreat 10 days...or you can get safegaurd and just put it in the water...if you dont have alot of chickens...i put 2 1/3 tbsp per gallon and make sure to shake and use for five straight days and then ten days after that another five straight days...hope this helps
