Today in the morning, I went to my coop and one of my chickens could not walk or stand. She is about 3 months old. She can eat and drink fine. I am just worried this could be long term, or a disease. She is a Australorp.

No new food has been introduced? Could she have gotten into some sort of toxin? How's the color of her comb? Eyes bright and alert? Does she try and move and fall down? Can she not seem to move at all? Or does it appear she does not WANT to move? How's her crop? Is it hard and distended, full and mushy or empty? What does her poop look like? Normal? I'm no expert of chickens by any means, my experience is as a cat/ dog vet tech, but the answers to these questions may help the forum give you advice...and a pic might help too. I'm so sorry this is happening, it's scary as heck!

There is a new food what has been introduced. I do not think that she has gotten in any toxins. The color of her comb is red. The eyes are bright and alert. She does try to move well she can but just falls over. She just does not have the strength to actually keep her self up. I think she does want to move. Once and a while she flaps her wigs.
