Help! I bought duck eggs but think this is a chicken!?!

Well did the other eggs look different? Hopefully the rest are ducks. Good luck, let us know!

I did notice that a couple of them were smaller eggs, so I guess it’s possible I’ll get another chicken. I think the majority are ducks, especially since they are on schedule air sac wise and stuff to hatch in about 4-5 Days

I've raised ducklings with chicks. Everybody was just fine. Keeping the brooder dry for the chicks was a bit challenging.View attachment 1334511

Ok thanks. That’s what I’m trying to figure out. Right now he’s the lone chicken. I don’t want him to get picked on too much for literally being the ugly duckling.

Yes you can raise chicken and ducks together. I've done it before, and have also seen others do it. From my own personal experience, ducks are way messier than chickens. We used normal feed and waterers, and had a lil kiddie pool for the ducks to wade.. Didn't keep them from trying to play in the feed and waterers though lol.
