I need help/advice!!! Badly!! I am usually a chicken person, but my local farm store called me with a turkey that couldn't walk. They gave her to me to see if anything could be done. After doing some research, I thought maybe spraddle leg. I used the "splints" they recommended and things improved for three days or so. Then I started to lose ground. The leg not only went back to a 45 degree angle, but now it's almost straight behind her! I'm thinking joint issues or slipped tendon, but no where do I see how to help her!! Please give me any help you can! I have really grown attached to this adorable little baby! :(

Is there anybody that has done this successfully? Is there an age/timeline when to attempt this? Is this something I would have to find a vet for? I would really hate to lose her at this point, but quality of life???

Oh, yea...thank you so much for you quick response. It's refreshing to have someone care about my little babe! :(
