Oh and another thing I have a hen (lightsussex) and she is much smaller and looks extremely different from the one we are talking about

Can you get some good close pics of the saddle feathers. Crowing and breeding/mounting aren't always male specific traits. Sometime hens crow, sometimes males don't crow, sometime hens will mount other hens to assert dominance.

Female rabbits will mount other female rabbits to assert dominance too. Seen that many times.
