HELP - I don’t want her to lose her leg!

Thank you to everyone, especially the OP and all your detailed treatments. Due to the recent NASTY storms, 3 of my 3 month old youngsters got frostbite on their toes. I've done the epson salt soak then left open for 2 days. They are in my "hospital" and are separated from the rest of the flock although within earshot. One girl was way too feisty to leave them within visual of the flock.

3rd day, everything looked open and raw so I made an essential oil mix that improves circulation and skin healing. Lathered with that then loosely bandaged.

4th day soaked again and bandaged with Essential Oils.

Remembered someone posting about the raw honey so I made up a batch with a bit of peppermint EO since the kids said their feet hurt. Couldn't find baby aspirin that didn't have a bunch of junk in it so opted for the peppermint. They said it felt really good!

One girl had skin flaps like a blister had popped so she didn't appreciate the epson salt. Skipped it with her also because her frostbite wasn't as severe as the others. In fact, she got her freedom today.

The raw honey/peppermint essential oil mix really made the healing progress nicely. I will definitely keep that in my med kit. Thanks to the person who recommended that.

The worse case is now looking much better. He may not loose his toes like I originally thought. The other girl is still up in the air. She's better but still in the hospital.

Pics are of their original injuries once I was able to catch them (always testy).... IMG_2538.JPG IMG_2534.JPG IMG_2526.JPG IMG_2527.JPG IMG_2539.JPG IMG_2542.JPG IMG_2543.JPG IMG_2545.JPG
