Help! I don't crow or lay eggs! UPDATE

It is a full blown RIR rooster for sure you can tell by the tail feathers the way they are already forming as well as the comb and wattles.
With feed stores it is a 50/50 shot they are pullets I ended up with 3 known for sure are roos from buying and being told they were pullets the rest are still ify yet.

for sure a rooster. My RIR rooster is only 2 months older than yours and he looked just like that 2 months ago and he didnt start crowing till the last 2-3 weeks. Your RIR has tail feathers way to big and pretty to be a pullet. He's very handsome!

Get yourself a rooster crowing ringtone for your cell phone. Play it where that chicken can hear it, but not see you. That ROO will crow, no doubt.

Roo. The tail feathers AND the upright stance say it all.

It's a cockerel. The saddle feathers are pointed. Females will not have pointed saddle feathers.

Well, I am still not sure what it is. Today I got two brown eggs, one speckled and one smooth. I only have one hen that lays brown eggs. So maybe it started laying?
