HELP! I dropped my pipping egg its bleeding I hear the chick chirping

you could put a little flour on the spots that are bleeding ...it works well when you clip a dog toe nail too short ..like an instant scab... good luck

Thanks everyone. I just went to look mama has it tucked under her the bleeding has stopped looks like the little one is going to hatch early. I hope makes it. I will keep you posted.

I am sorry it didn't make it. I had 2 broodies this last month and one decided that she needed to leave, she was done, while one egg was pipping. So as I was carrying the egg to the house, along with 2 fresh eggs, I tripped. Fortunately I broke a fresh egg and the pipping one went on to hatch out in the incubator. But it could have just as easily been the other way.
