Help! I gave my chickens doxycycline for 24 hours will I eventually be able to eat the eggs again?
My avain vet suggested the doxcycline for treatment. I had some on hand (husband has pigeons) and then I read it is not an approved antibiotic for poultry intended for human consumption including the eggs....
I'm getting ready to order the Denagard as I've seen that it has an excellent report for treatment of respiratory issues.

I'm not an expert since I don't give antibiotics hardly at all but my vet prescribed Tetracycline and he told me a 30 day withdrawal for eggs.

FARAD.org is the site to look for approved and unapproved drugs for livestock. It's been 'improved' again, so takes a little time to navigate. Chlortetracycline is approved, and it's in the same class of drugs. That's as close as I could come to figuring it out there.

Denagard is ONLY labeled for swine. ONLY. That looks like it's not okay for chickens at all.

I would suggest if you have started the doxycycline, I would go ahead and continue with it. Almost no antibiotics are approved for egg laying poultry. Many vets will prescribe them, and most medications state that eggs should never be eaten. However, many people on BYC will use them and wait a reasonable amount of time before consuming eggs. FARAD is a good source to use. 30 days is a good amount of time to wait if you cannot find a reasonable egg withdrawal time. @casportpony is a good source to contact about withdrawal times on many meds.
Here is one source that says that doxycycline may remain in egg yolk for 15 days after stopping the medicine, and 13 days in the egg white:

Given the short period of treatment and given that the eggs are for personal consumption it would not bother me, but then again I have been on two 30 day treatments with Doxycycline for Lyme disease.

I agree that if doxy has already started, stick with it. Throwing those eggs out for two or three weeks isn't a big deal, if it's what you need for them. If it's Mycoplasma gallisepticum, it won't ever go away. Hope that's not the problem here!

FWIW, Although Denagard is not labeled for use in poultry here in the US, it is approved for use in the UK with a zero-day egg withdrawal.
