Help! I had an egg explode next to a chick in mid hatch!

I am hatching eggs in an incubator and one exploded next to a chick that was still trying to get out of the egg. I checked them at about 10 am and there was no sign of an impending explosion, no smell, no cracks, nothing. I checked again at 12 and saw the mess. I have removed the bad egg and the chick, reached in and snatched out quick, hopefully I haven't hurt the others. The chick is stuck in the egg and I don't know what to do, Should I try warm water to get it off? This is only my second hatch I did candle on day 18 but was not sure what I was looking at so I only removed the eggs that were clear.
