Help, I have a Dilemma to discuss with y'all

I hope you don't mind my 2 cents worth, because it looks like you're getting good advice already. Are you set up to incubate eggs? It seems like nature provides a balance of the sexes, I hope nature thinks I already have enough roos and gives me mostly hens in this next batch. Some of the chicks will really like you, some won't. One will always come to me and let me pick her up, I think she likes me but she is just smart and knows this will get her a treat. I was given alot of chickens, pot luck, and they will have a good life, right up to , well, you know.

Your 2 cents is welcome heck you can offer 4 cents. I am so happy with all the advice that I have been getting. I was in the process of buying an incubator to experience the birth and also prepared to face death. I just want to experience the joy that is described countless number of times in this forum. I am a realist and have looked at every article and book available to try to make the best decision for my family and the potential new members.
