Help I Have A Mean 2 Day Old Chick !! Help

Thanks ranchhand...oven rack...had not thought of that.
I have six chicks born a day ahead of one I took out of the shell myself.
It has been incubated almost a day now under a clear glass bowl in the tub everyone is in.
The other chicks try to pick on it...
I need to put them all in a bigger tub and it is time to take the baby out from under the bowl...
and have them separate, but together.
An oven rack is a dandy idea.

another thought you could try, give them something else to pick at, some hay, or grass clippings, (FRESH) a couple flower petals from edible plants like dandylion or pansies. Babies LOVE to peck, and if they cant find anything, they start on each other. divert thier attention with a pile of hay, and they will have a great time! I like to take some small pieces of bread and watch them play tag with it, or a couple flies from the barn window!

Anything to attract them will work!
