Help...I have a problem!

I think I am addicted to Chickens! I have Nine big girls! Seven chicks! Six still hopefuls in the bator! More fertile eggs being shipped monday for the next run in the bator! And I cant quit looking at the auction listings!

That's okay, there's plenty like you, like me. I only wanted 3, I ended up getting 4, then I hatched eggs, and hatched, and hatched........Now I have 21, plus 8 hatching right now, and 13 in the other bator, not to mention the roos I had to rehome.

There is no hope for your condition. I was only going to have 2, which quickly became 4 (strictly for egg purposes, of course

). I now have 20-so chickens, 5 chicks in my breakfast nook and eggs on the way. Not to mention I agreed to take 2 (yes, only 2) chicks from the 3 batches that were hatched at the school my sister works at. She then agreed to take 4 and now she has agreed to take all remaining chicks (without asking me first, of course)

I've tried explaining that each bird needs so much space and I am limited on space, but she just doesn't quite get it.

On the bright side I was able to not buy any chicks at the feed store last week. Now that's self-restraint!
