HELP! I have lost 3 chicks and I have another one going

they are a week old they have been eating fine and then all of a sudden its like they get really tired and start falling asleep standing up they get to were they wont eat and they get weak very rapidly and then they die within 24 hours WHAT IS CAUSING THIS? I've tried sugar water, water with the sav-a-chick in it and im getting poly-visol tonight no matter what i do they die and idk what to do this is horribly ridiculous PLEASE HELP I'M SO FRUSTRATED I'M YANKING HAIR OUT I've checked heat and cold in there there is fresh food and water i cant figure it out and its all the chicks from the same feed store none of my other chicks are dieing from any other feed store

Yes I called them and do you know what they said? ALL SALES ARE FINALE but we are getting another shipment in a week or so and you can replace what died

thats too bad but I guess they figure once they sell the chick it's out of their hands, and they don't know how well they are bing cared for. If you could find out where they get them from and maybe call the hatchery, don't know if it would do any good though. but might give you peace of mind. yes diff. try the poly-vi-sol w/o iron on them at this point I'd try what ever you can. Can you get gro gel? that is very good for new hatched chicks full of good stuff for them you just mix with warm water.

I guess, I purchased over 30 chicks this year and there all fine except the one I bought from there which are buff orphington partridge rock, white rock and white araucana I lost a partridge rock first a buff orphington a white rock and now another white rock is going down no I cant get grow gel they dont sell it here.....id have to order it but that would take weeks

How many chicks did you get from this feed store and have you ever gotten any from them before?

I bought nine and I did a few years back But I guess they switched owners last year and all they have is bad reviews on google and stuff

wow too bad you didn't see the reviews before you got your chicks.. just be sure to give them the review you think they should have too.

already did lmao......and its the strangest thing I help the chick for a while and talked to her and loved on her and then she started peeping and I put her back in the brooder and ran over and got a drink and started eating then drank again and then ran around the brooder like nothing was wrong and she was very active all the way up till it got dark then they went to sleep I'll see how she is come morning I hope shes better

2 questions: are you feeding medicated starter feed? Is it warm enough?
I lost one today. First time, I was told all sales are final too. I think some just come more sick than others. I have bought from the same feed store for 9 months now. I know it is not them. I dunno?

Do the best you can and try again another day.
