Help I have to chase my ducks !!

I only have three and they are still only about half grown, but I do what several other people have suggested, I hold my arms out and "steer" them. I read somewhere that ducks have almost 360 degree vision and that's why they can see you, even when they approach from the back. Mine do still run after me if I call to them then go around the corner of the house.
Mine started life inside and have been held and babied, but they are four weeks now and act like we're trying to kill them if we get too close. I think that's just ducks. Unfortunately, the pen we have them in currently they have to be lifted in and out of and they raise a holy fit when we corner them and pick them up, even though it means food and home. Oh well. We're getting our duck home built this week then they won't have to be tortured anymore.

They have extrememly high predator insticts. I've watched them in the yard and if they hear something in the brush or an unusual sound, they head for the hills. I think that instict has probably been bred out of the chickens and that's why they are calmer.

Well someone on here suggested i wrap them in an extra piece of caging and it has worked like a charm. I enclose us in a smaller circle and just reach down and pick them up.

Tonight i just herded them into the smaller inner circle in less than 1 minute and got them all inside in record time of less than 10 minutes... feeders refilled and all.

Thanks so much problem solved.

PS The funny thing is that in the mornings they follow me outside and wait for me to open the garden edging and then pass in single file. The problem is they don't want to go indoors at night so I have to out smart them to get them in.
