HELP! i lost one chick and one is dying

so i got 2 lavender orpingtons, and last night, i lost a delaware pullet, we didnt have the heat lamp on, but yesterday, we let our broody hen be with the chicks, and i think she pecked them alot. our lavender orpington, Lilac, is dying. we put her in a sock and we got the heat lamp started. she is barely responding

Absolutely warm her under the lamp until she is featured out.
Dip her beak into hydro-hen or electrolyte sav-a-chic. She needs electrolytes immediately. Scramble an egg and see if she can eat. Please keep us updated.
 
we got them from tsc and the LO from bonnies barnyard, our house was 70 degrees, and we didnt want to use a heat lamp when the house was 70 degrees, bc one time 4 chicks died from overheating. mom thinks it was a draft.

I understand. Unfortunately 70 degrees for a baby chic is too cold. They need to be keep at 95 for about two weeks. Remember a brown box will get Very hot inside without any heat reprieve because of the insulation it creats. So, a plastic bin is better. Make sure the lamp is not to high or too low. Thwy need an escape from the heat of 95.
