I have two tough old male feral cats that come through here every day. I have food out for them (the coon also comes) because the winters are so tough here and I've been feeding the same 2 guys for 2 years now. They still won't come near me!
Question: I have a cat meowing outside right now. I can't see it cause it's under the pines. It's a mating call. Do the males call or the females? I'm asking because a new young cat has just come around a couple of weeks ago. It was sitting next to one of the old guys at the food dish a couple of days ago. I thought that was odd because this old guy (ears bitten off, scars and cuts on him) never lets anything near him. Is this little one a female?
Who does the mating cries with cats or is it both sexes?
Thanks - TipsyDog
