HELP!! I need a hen apron ASAP!!!

Is there anyone willing to ship to Canada? I REALLY need some aprons for my ladies! My beautiful big roo has cut up one of my girls inadvertantly.

make sure you treat the cut with antibiotic ointment and some blue cote, so she doesn't get infected. you may try shortening and blunting his toe nails, put him in a pant leg or wrap with elastic bandage and cut then file nails flat, I think there is a sight called CRAZEY CHICKEN that sells aprons

OK sorry I googled crazy chicken and that wasn't it, but you can google chicken aprons and several come up very easy to make. use a strong fabric or double a cotton fabric, use a long narrow piece of elastic about 1/4 inch it should go from the sides through the neck slot to the other side. experiment with an old pair of jeans or something. they aren't hard to make

Thanks for the tip......however, I cant sew to save my life. I cant even darn a sock! I need a seller that will ship to Canada, and thats really hard to find

Look in this section for a thread called "free chicken apron pattern" Read through the thread, there are a couple of descriptions of aprons that do not require sewing, and there is a picture of it, too. Hope that helps. I am in the same boat, my poor hens are just raw from my roo. Men...

I cant sew either, but we whipped up four chicken diapers in a couple hours the other night just by looking up pictures on the net and getting crafty. lol If we can do it, so can you.
