HELP......I need instructions...All the years I've been hatching & this has never happened...

Yeah, she just has a bit of unabsorbed yolk sack. Keep her away from any other birds for a few hours and she should absorb it. Make sure she can't tear it on anything.

Sounds good! I bet she'll be all better tomorrow. Once it is absorbed you can put some Triple antibiotic ointment on it to help it heal up, but I'm sure she'll be fine. Sometimes some chicks just get in a hurry to hatch, and rush things a bit. :)

Aw, I'm sorry. Usually they do fine. Maybe she was just a weaker chick I guess. Sorry for your loss :hugs
