My favourite baby girl has died at 4 months. This video was taken when she first became sick. Can you please tell me what breed she is so I can find her again. I am simply devastated. She was batam. Polish/Cochin/Silkie/Seabright/BlueEnglishGameHen

I'm sorry for your loss.
Did she have feathered feets? how many toes? She looks like cochin.
Thank you so much for your reply. I am trying to post a video but can’t figure it out. She had grey legs and standard toes - no feathers. And she chirped all the time with such personality. I thought maybe part seabright. Losing her has broken my heart. She was a house chicken for two months while I tried to heal her.

If she had been old enough to lay you could have told us what color of egg she layed. She look's to have a crest, but I think that she is a mixed breed. Possibly with a Crested Cream Leghorn? Those hen's aren't very big, so if a bantam cochin rooster got to her it might produce something like the one that you are trying to figure out.

She was very small and delicate with big soulful eyes and a small creast. Grey feet and a pointy tail - she was half tail. She chirped a lot. Had different sounds for everything. Had scalloped feathers and loved bugs and fruit. I know it’s probably a lost cause to find her agin.

I am so truly sorry, we have lost two chickens yesterday, and I know how it feels, please take my deepest, truest, regards :hugs

Oh, it's fine, I am available if you ever need an ear to listen!
After a while, it isn't as bad as when you lose your first, I have lost so many, and we have so many, it's just, life. One thing to keep in mind, if you didn't lose some, you couldn't make room for more. I have lost ones that were very special, but I know they are all happy together in heaven!
Thank you ❤. I didn’t expect it to hurt this much. I am very sorry for your loss as well.

It will hurt, but then you might find one you love just as much, and it doesn't mean you'll forget them, you will have someone new to take care of, and that helps to heal that hole.
