Is it a pheasant chick? How do I look after it? I don’t know how old it is either?

Can you take it to a wildlife rescue? it looks like about a week old. it needs heat. if a cat caught it, it probably has internal injuries and needs antibiotics.

looks like a chicken to me. it needs heat, food and water. an incandescent bulb in a lamp, cardboard box and towel will work in a pinch, but you are better to seek out a red heat bulb asap (even the smallest hardware store will have these). you can feed it cooked hardboiled egg until you can find some 'chick crumbs' which you should be able to find. and a shallow dish of water, very shallow so it can't fall in and drown.

other issue is that chickens are flock animals and need company, so if it can be rehomed to somewhere with other chicks or you can get a few more chicks for it as company.

then of course as it grows, it will need somewhere to live :p

Most certainly is a pheasant chick.

First of all, get yourself a heat lamp (red bulb) and the rules are almost the same as chicken chicks. Heat is really important for the next 3 weeks or so, especially at night otherwise it'll die. As it's a game bird, it needs much higher protein in its food. If you have nothing else, start with hardboiled chicken eggs mashed up.

Regarding its home, it needs a comfortable 3 square feet of space.

Next, decide if you are keeping it?
