Well, I was stupid and didnt think, and in between hatches (I am new to the whole chicken hatching thing) I cleaned out my incubator with bleach. Stupid, I know. And I think I must not have gotten it all out of the styrofoam and several of my chicks and eggs with chicks died. I have one left still hanging on. Is there anything I can do for it? He/She is in the brooder under the light, but can't hardly walk and its feet are kind of swollen and it cant use its feet too good. What should I do?

Also, they never really dried out. Was the humidity too high? I dont have a way to measure it yet. I guess I need to buy one of those.

If they're poisoned from the bleach, make some electrolye water and fill them with that. Fill their crop so it's slightly squishy. Also, give them whole milk. They need lots of fluid to flush the poison from their systems.

Thank you for the info. The chick is also making a clicking sound when it breathes through its nose. What could that be?
