Chirping
Hello all!!!
I need a little help, we purchased our first flock about two weeks ago, we THOuGHT we got all females, but.... as the weeks go by we are starting to think our beautiful Faverolles Fig is actually a rooster. Can anyone help? She/He is bigger than the other five and their comb is pinkish red instead of yellow (again unlike all the others) also, it’s hard to see a clear second row of feathers . They are all a day or two shy of five weeks so I’m not sure if I just need to wait a little longer to find out. We wanted a male but we wanted to wait about a year before getting one. So either way we’d be excited .... just want to know if I should look out for crowing instead of clucking lol
